About Us

Sunny & Judy
As you can see from our photos we are an example of where East meets West. Sunny came to the U.S. in 1980 and brought with him his passion and knowledge of the Chinese arts. I am a native Oregonian with a love of travel, art and history. We took our first trip back to China in 1999. Sunny's family extends from the north of Beijing to the south of Shanghai. His family connection has given us opportunities to explore the many culture rich regions of China. With Sunny's Chinese heritage and my background in design we combine to make a great team in the art business. This combination gives us the edge in finding the best art available for our customers. Call or email us with any questions or inquiries you may have, we are here to help.

Portland Chinese Gardens Exhibits the Han Collection
The Han Collection is on exhibit at the Portland Chinese Garden throughout the year. Every piece of art is chosen with personal attention to detail and has its own story. We have the opportunity at the Chinese Gardens to talk with visitors from around the world. We share stories of our visits with the Chinese artists and our travels throughout China. This is a wonderful way to introduce to the community, an appreciation of the Chinese culture. Sunny and I are proud to have this partnership with the Chinese Gardens in Portland, Oregon.

The Chinese Garden is located in the heart of Portland's Old Town Chinatown. The Gardens are a premier cultural heritage destination. The Portland Chinese Garden was built by 62 Chinese artisans from Suzhou, China as a friendship project between our sister cities. The Chinese Garden in Portland shares Chinese arts and culture with more people than any other Oregon nonprofit organization.

The Han Collection in partnership with the Chinese Garden is committed to building a bridge of understanding between the cultures of East and West. To learn more about them visit the Portland Chinese Garden, Northwest Third & Everett, Portland, Oregon 97208. Phone 503-228-8131 or on the web at: portlandchinesegarden.org.

From the Director of the Portland
Classical Chinese Gardens

The Han Collection is a bridge between East and West, an original selection of visual art exploring the culture of Portland, Oregon's sister city, Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. This collection showcases the talent of Jiangsu artists and offers the public an opportunity to own original art by native Chinese. You can visit the Portland Classical Garden during the Summer Showcase of the Han Collection to view the art or you can purchase the art directly through the Han Collection. A portion of the proceeds of your sale benefits the Portland Classical Chinese Garden, a 501C3 non-profit.

"The Garden is an oasis of tranquil beauty and harmony enhanced by original art from the Han Collection. The art inspires, engages and educates our visitors about Chinese culture adding energy and vitality to the Garden during our summer season. We are pleased to offer the Garden as a venue for the Han Collection."
Gloria Lee Luebke - former Executive Director, Portland Classical Chinese Garden

Gresham Art Walk
In 2001 Sunny and I founded the Gresham Art Walk. I was President of the Gresham Downtown Merchants Association, and we were looking for a new artistic event for the community. The Gresham Art Walk is a juried event that takes place in Historic Downtown Gresham, Oregon on the 3rd Saturday in July and presents the highest standard of art and artisans to the community. The 2010 Gresham Art Walk attracted 125 artisans and 12,000 visitors.

Featured at the Gresham Art Walk are all forms of art. Artists show their works in oil paintings, watercolors, glass, pottery, wood, and more.

For information, or an application, visit our web site at greshamartwalk.com or call 503-661-9255. Inquires can be sent to: Gresham Art Walk, P.O. Box 2384, Gresham, Oregon 97030.
